Movie Poster Idea 3

First of all I cropped this photo so that I changed it from landscape to portrait, I wanted to enlongate the two characters as well as make them the central focus. I then used the contrast again to bring the natural light in to the photo and brighten up the focus however this time I didn't use the black and white effect I decided that I wanted to blur the background so that the main focus was purely on the two characters showing their affection for each other. This blur effect is shown in the photo below.
The blur made all the colours in the background blend together and the effect worked well with the photo to make them the main focus as well as make it look slightly like a dream. I then had to add the text on to it, I decided that the text would look good the the side of them again and I liked the names on to the title, this is shown below in the photo.

The finishing photo looked like this ...

This poster is very bright and eye catching as well as having a clear focal point of the two characters it doesnt move away from the text but captures the eye. I really like the colours in the photo and the romance that you can see, the only problem with the photo is that it doesnt show the darkness of the film, which I feel could mean that it doesn't represent the film properly.

Movie Poster Idea 2

This is the photo that is in the meeting scene which connotes their first sight of each other, I thought the photo was significant in the movie as its the first time we see both of them on screen close up. Another positive about the photo is there is a very romantic feel to it with the backdrop of the water and the sun light on Megan. However once again I wanted to have the dark side showing so instead I decided to have Harri painted in black and white to signify that maybe he isn't as innocent as he looks, it contrasts well with Megan being in colour and beautiful lighting. This is shown below.
Whilst I brightened the natural light using the contrast I then decided that the text needed to be placed very carefully because at the bottom of the photo it was harder to read so instead I made it slightly smaller and fitted it between them, being in the centre makes it eye catching and pleasing to the eye because of the characters being either side of it. The names are now on top of the title which looks neat and tidy.

This is the finishing poster, I love how they are looking at each other and it connnotes love and romance, the black and white is effective and it adds mystery to Harri's character. The denotation of them looking at each other and the title being in the middle is effective and the font again is very easy to read and 'girly'. However the only negative of the photo is that the quality isn't as good as the others and it's very blurred and grainy, which would effect the audiences perception of it!
