The main factor that we wanted to have for the boys character was the element of surprise for his darker side, which is the main reason that we chose Harri. He has an innocent looking face as well as not being as big built as the other two boys. We also wanted to subvert the typical stereotype of a abusive boyfriend and therefore we chose the weaker and innocent looking guy.
The boys costume was fairly simple, with his school clothes we decided to have his blazer over his shoulder and tie loose with his top button undone giving a glimpse that he is a relaxed 'bad boy' type but because he is a suit it contradicts the first impressions of him. We wanted him to look like he had made an effort on the first date with a cool shirt but when we watch the relationship develop he becomes more relaxed with normal t-shirts.
